3. Press the cushion to inflate it. Press the air chambers around 30 times. The cushion is the pump — no external pump, no batteries.
4. Set your firmness, then close the valve. Too firm? Press the red release button inside the inflate valve to let a little air back out. 60–80% full is the comfort sweet spot — not 100%.

No, and you don't need anything extra. Close the clear air nozzle, open the inflate valve, and press the cushion about 30 times. It takes a minute.
