What we make
OORiver makes one kind of thing: air-cell seat and back cushions for people who sit for a living, drive long distances, travel often, or spend the day in a wheelchair. Seven products, one problem. We do not sell anything else, and we have no plans to.
The idea behind all of them is the same. A block of foam has to crush in order to cushion you, and crushing is exactly what wears it out — which is why a foam pad holds a permanent, body-shaped dent within weeks. An air cell cushions differently: it moves air between chambers. Nothing is compressed flat, so nothing wears out flat, and the load keeps redistributing every time you shift your weight.
Who we are, plainly
We are a small team based in Hong Kong, shipping to customers across the United States. We say that openly because you deserve to know who is on the other end of the transaction before you enter a card number, and because a brand that hides where it is tends to be hiding other things too.
Being small is why we can do a few things that larger sellers cannot. If you email us asking whether a cushion fits a 2019 Honda Civic seat or a particular mesh office chair, a person who knows the products will answer you — and will tell you if the answer is no.
What we will not do
This matters more than a mission statement, so we will be specific.
- We do not invent reviews. Our reviews are collected through Judge.me, which only accepts them from customers with a matching order. We are new, so there are very few. We would rather show you an empty review section than a rating we cannot prove.
- We do not invent test results. You will not find a percentage of “pressure reduction” or a “clinically tested” badge anywhere on this site. We describe how the product works mechanically, and leave the numbers to people who have actually run the study.
- We do not fake urgency. Any stock count you see is read live from our real inventory. There are no countdown timers that reset when you reload the page.
- We do not pretend to be a medical device. Our cushions are comfort products. If you are managing pressure injuries, recovering from surgery, or dealing with a specific spinal condition, talk to your clinician before changing your seating.
What we do promise
- Free US shipping on every order. We pack within 1–2 business days; delivery takes 7–12 business days from there. You get a tracking link by email the moment it ships.
- A 30-day comfort guarantee. Use the cushion properly — at your desk, in the car, on a flight. If it is not more comfortable than what you were sitting on before, email us within 30 days of delivery and we refund you in full.
- Returns that cost you nothing. You do not post it back. Return shipping would cost more than the cushion, so we do not ask you to pay it, and we do not ask you to photograph the packaging.
- The price is the price. No import charges for you to pay. If a carrier ever asks, pay it, send us the receipt, and we refund it the same day.
- A person answers. cs@ooriver.com is read by a member of our team, and you will hear back within one business day — before you buy as readily as after.
Payments and your data
Checkout is handled by Shopify, so your card details never touch our servers and we never see them. Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay are all accepted. What we do with the information you give us is set out in full in our privacy policy.
